Steve managed the preparation of the construction documents for these multi-family housing developments (Amberwalk I - 26 building, 93 unit, Amberwalk II – 19 buildings, 93 units) for D.R. Horton.
Included in the separate landscape design packages for these projects were improvements such as entry monumentation, gated entries, public streetscape, common area greenbelts, a pool and recreation/meeting building, tot-lots, and multi-use retention basin/open play areas. Steve's team also provided additional services including phasing plans, marketing graphics for use in the sales offices, model landscape plans, and a temporary sales trailer/ADA access plan to gain permit issuance for early sales.
Since the development was located in the City of Murrieta’s historical district, his team had to work closely with the city’s planner to develop details for the project walls, entry monuments, and other improvements visible to the public that would complement and build upon the historical theme.
