San Diego, California (Landscape Architect)
As the Landscape Architect, Steve was responsible for preparing the construction documents and providing construction management services for this 650-acre, mixed-used development.
Besides being responsible for the projects greenbelts, project monuments, slopes, a 14-acre community park, open space, brush management, and trail systems, Steve was also responsible for preparing the construction documents for the parkway, medians, and adjacent greenbelts for approximately 20 miles of streetscape located within the project. Due to the size, location (coastal zone), and production schedule of the project, his construction services included the management of contract growing of the plant material. Since the quantities and species of plant material for this project would not be readily available through nurseries, this task was essential in minimizing construction delays by providing plant material suitable for the project.
